Auditions for our fall 2026 season will be held on Monday, September 14 at 9 PM in the Office for the Arts Director's Studio. We hope to see you there! :)
HRMDC is a no-cut company that offers members weekly company classes, guest workshops, and the opportunity to perform and choreograph in the company's biannual shows.
During auditions, we will be casting company members who wish to perform in our fall 2026 production:
cosmos
For centuries, human beings have been gazing at the stars. What worlds are there in space that we’ve never even dreamed of? What stories of civilizations past are written into the constellations? As we watch the stars, what watches us back?
cosmos will use modern dance to explore the myriad relationships that humanity has had with space through the years. Each student-choreographed number will interpret the cosmos through a unique experience and movement language. From electric and energetic sci-fi-inspired numbers to quiet, lyrical pieces inspired by introspection and quiet nights under the stars, this show will capture through movement the complexity, discovery, and history hidden in the night sky. Considering the vastness of space can make us feel small and insignificant, but also reminds us of our shared humanity; we hope cosmos can do the same for our dancers and audience members.
In residence at the Loeb Experimental Theater from November 2 to November 8.
